ACG Hosts Workplace Litigation Discussion

IRVINE, Calif. - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The Association for Corporate Growth Orange County chapter (ACG OC) will host, “Fighting Class Action Trolls: What Business Owners and Service Providers Need to Know about New Realities in Employment Law,” featuring Christopher Boman, Partner at Fisher & Phillips LLP. The event will take place on Thursday, November 14th, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. at SingerLewak University Room at 2050 Main Street, 7^th floor, in Irvine.

         “Fighting Class Action Trolls” is part of the ACG OC’s Academy Event Series, which gives OrangeCounty professionals the opportunity to network and learn in a relaxed and informal setting. The event will address best policies to protect against and help navigate the complex area of class action lawsuits.  Attendees will learn about the steps and policies to put into place to avoid costly litigation issues. In addition, a discussion will be held on the new wave of labor laws expected to occur in 2014.

         Boman is a partner in the Irvine, Calif. office of Fisher & Phillips LLP (http://www.laborlawyers.com/), one of the largest national law firms in the field of labor and employment law.
