ABA to Host Second Annual Conference on Investment, Real Estate, Hospitality and Tourism in Mexico

LOS CABOS, Mexico - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- (Los Cabos, Mexico) The Mexico Committee of the International Section of the American Bar Association in cooperation with the Barra Mexicana de Abogados is organizing the second annual conference on Legal Challenges and Opportunities of Mexico’s Increased Global Integration: Foreign Investment, Trade, Real Estate, Hospitality and Tourism in Los Cabos, Mexico, on Nov. 7-9, 2013.

Mexico offers complex, but rewarding opportunities for resort and hospitality development. The country’s tourism industry, which is already the nation’s fifth-biggest source of revenue, will be taking on more economic importance as international visits continue to increase and new infrastructure is built.

Benjamin Rosen, managing partner of Rosen Law in Los Cabos, Mexico, co-chair of the conference and vice-chair of the Mexico Committee, will be moderating a panel on investing in the resort and hospitality industry in Mexico. In-House and Business Perspectives on Investing in the Resort and Hospitality Market in Mexico: Opportunities & Challenges in Acquiring and Operating Hotels and Resorts will examine opportunities and issues faced by global hotel and timeshare companies acquiring and operating resorts in Mexico.
