The Naperville Area Humane Society raised $64,000 to support its animal shelter and related programs and services at its annual Black Cat Ball fundraiser at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville Hotel on October 4, 2013.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Naperville Area Humane Society’s (NAHS) 2013 Black Cat Ball raised $64,000 which will directly benefit the animals and programs of NAHS.  The event was held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville.  NAHS thanks everyone who attended and supported the critical fundraising event.

Fund a Need was a significant highlight of the evening, as guests actively raised their hands to pledge support for NAHS.  “Fund a Need is one way for supporters to make a difference in the lives of our animals, and keep the shelter an essential part of the community” says development director Ellie Stefanic.  “Fund a Need connects our guests to the shelter on a different level, where they can see their generous gifts at work.  For this reason, we would like to offer the opportunity for the community to help Fund a Need this fall.”  To learn more about how you can personally commit to making a difference at NAHS and Fund a Need, please contact Ellie at ellies@napervilleareahumanesociety.org or visit www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.
