Medico Masti at MTNL Perfect Health Mela

GREATER KAILASH, India - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- New Delhi October 14, 2013: An intercollege and youth festival will be organized on Saturday, 26th October, 2013 at 20th MTNL Perfect Health Mela to be held at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.

Padma Shri and Dr. B C  Roy National Awardee, Dr K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India said that over 50 colleges from NCR including medical colleges will participate in the event.

The festival will be organized by the Foundation in association with various Departments of Central and Delhi Government, NDMC, MCD and Maulana Azad Medical College.

Giving the details Dr Aggarwal said that on the spot competitions like fashion show, choreography, rock band, etc would be organized as part of the festival. Other competitions will include western and classical dance, quiz, singing competition, etc.

Dr Aggarwal said that infotainment is new concept of creating health education and in this module education is interlinked with entertainment.  The principles of infotainment modules are:

1.      Have competitions based on health-based theme.

2.      Display social advertisements and messages in between the competitions in the form of health practice.

3.      Have talks by eminent personalities in between the two competitions and finally

4.      Pass on social messages to the public in the award ceremony in between two awards.

About HCFI : The only National Not for profit NGO, on whose mega community health education events, Govt. of India has released two National Commemorative stamps and one cancellation stamp, and who has conducted one to one training on” Hands only CPR” of 63425 people since 1st November2012.

The CPR 10 Mantra is – “Within 10 minutes of death, earlier the better; at least for the next 10 minutes, longer the better; compress the centre of the chest of the dead person continuously and effectively with a speed of 10x10 i.e. 100 per minute.”
