Upcoming Irish Milliner, Aoife Harrison Launches Her Latest Designer Hat And Headpiece Collection

BALLSBRIDGE, Ireland - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Having just completed two top millinery courses, one in London and the other in France, Aoife is delighted to launch her debut bridal headwear and latest collection of hats, the only accessory that can ‘top it off’. Many accessories can compliment an ensemble, but none but the hat can end the sentence. Currently, the only Irish milliner sold alongside revered Philip Treacy in the Design Centre, Aoife draws her inspiration from classic couture, having collected vintage hats from a young age.  Encapsulating a chic palette of muted earth tones and jewel colours,her eye-catching designs are crafted from only the most sumptuous of fabricsadorned with crystals, delicate beading and feathers giving the most opulent of effects.

Inspired by nature, and often incorporating natural materials, Aoife's creative flare for creating stunning sculptural headpieces is always informed by classic simplicity, paired with just the right measure of eccentricity. Already becoming a synonymous name amongst celebrity hat racing and fashions on the field, her collection ranges from show-stopping fashion items to timeless classics. Aoife loves the theatrics of millinery and enjoys nothing more than creating a memorable headpiece around a client’s bespoke specifications. Designed and created onsite in her Dublin studio, each headpiece is unique, fully lined where appropriate and hand-crafted in Aoife’s exclusive, distinctive style.

Due to demand, Aoife has now expanded into the bridal headwear market creating an affordable bridal range for brides looking for something different. Using an eclectic mix of pearls, silks, vintage lace and jewellery, Aoife expertly combines sparkling detail with delicate fabrics and intricate beading to create a timeless collection. The bridal range encapsulates the whole bridal look, complementing the bride and her dress, while not distracting or taking from it. Fashioned on combs and hairbands, materials are sourced worldwide to create beautiful pieces for brides to treasure long past their wedding day.
