Follow on Google News | Pedal Craft Volume Three Brings Bikes, Art, and Building Community to Downtown Phoenix, Oct. 25By: Pedal Craft Fifteen local graphic designers will show their original bicycle-themed poster artwork, available for sale for $30 per poster. Poster purchasers will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a Pedal Craft-themed bicycle from State Bicycle Co. (valued at $400). A percentage of the proceeds from the poster show will be donated to The Welcome to America Project, a non-profit organization that creates community connections and builds bridges of neighborly understanding by providing furniture, basic necessities, education, and additional resources to newly arriving refugees. At the pop-up park adjacent to monOrchid, bike parking valet will be provided by Phoenix Spokes People and Valley Metro. Music will be spinning throughout the evening in the pop-up park. At 9 p.m., Phoenix Spokes People will lead a ride throughout downtown stopping at interesting spots along the way, including the Pedal Craft mural on the side of Eye Lounge at 419 East Roosevelt Street (a perfect spot for a group selfie). Pedal Craft is part of Phoenix Design Week, October 18-25.
