BOSTON - Oct. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Zoomdojo (http://www.zoomdojo.com) is a corporate sponsor of GCC's most important annual event in North America, the GCC US Summit 2013, being held at Harvard University on October 12-13, 2013.

Zoomdojo Co-Founder, Ritu Banga, and Zoomdojo Young Professional, Victor Chen, will conduct a "Consulting 101" workshop at the Summit on October 13, 2013. The workshop will cover wide-ranging topics from: What is consulting; some real life engagements / cases; the myths and recruiting process; beyond MBB; what can you do to prepare; is there a formula; is consulting the path for you? Ritu Banga has deep experience in consulting and was Founder and Managing Director of Point of View, a strategic consulting firm that has advised global companies entering India on product strategy and markets. Victor Chen was a consultant at Protiviti, Inc before moving to BlackRock.

A second workshop, "Career Planning and Strategy", will be conducted by Carol Rattray, also a Zoomdojo Co-founder. She will be assisted by Maria Regina Napolitano. This workshop will lead participants through the basic Do's and Don'ts of mapping their career path; short term vs long term planning; and tips on how to manage the oftentimes confusing process that is supposed to define a career path. Carol Rattray believes that there are no silly questions in the career planning process! Her own career has evolved in unexpected ways across industries, geographies and roles. She has worked or served on boards in banking, executive search, philanthropy and education; and has been an early and successful investor in China.

Zoomdojo Young Professional, Ashley Brenner, will lead a third workshop on "Cultural Transitions - from Home to College to Career". With her own personal experiences of living and studying in the U.S., Singapore and Hong Kong, and traveling extensively for work and training, Brenner is well placed to explore questions such as: ever experience Culture Shock moving from the familiar to the unfamiliar? In this workshop, participants will learn from Ashley Brenner, assisted by McKellen Kimura Rattray and Gabriel Soares about how they managed to make new environments work for them. Participants will share their own journeys too.
