The launch event for the 1st ever African Restaurant Week will take place at Taj Lounge, located on 48 W 21st Street, Chelsea, NYC from 2PM until 8PM. Billed as a day party for foodies and lovers of African cuisine and culture, the affair will feature:
· A variety of cuisine and wines from all four corners of the African continent including drinks from Bed-Vyne and House of Mandela wines as well as menu options from renowned chefs Pierre Thiam , Bryan Hayford, Barbara Naadjie, Grace Odogbili, Mark Henegan, Philipos and many more artisans;
· Music by Afrobeats pioneer and creator of the official #NYARW soundtrack, DJ Universe;
