Follow on Google News | Beta Omega Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau FraternityThe Beta Omega Chapter of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity is holding its annual philanthropy event later this month. This event, Bicknell’s Haunted House, will be held at the Phi Kappa Tau Mansion located on the corner of 5th and Hazel in downtown Chico. As Chico’s oldest fraternity, the brothers of the Beta Omega Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity are committed to fostering and maintaining long lasting, meaningful relationships with many different members and areas of the community. For this reason, we are issuing a press release to local and national news outlets including details about our philanthropy event. The event, Bicknell’s Haunted House will be held from 7-10 PM on the evenings of October 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th, 29th and 30th. The Haunted House will run through the Fraternity house and into our back yard where we have constructed numerous attractions and stages of the walk. We are asking that no one under the age of 16 attend this event as the Boys and Girls Club of Chico is holding a more family oriented haunted house later in October. We will charge $7 at the door, and $5 presales. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the SeriousFun Children’s Network, a 501C3 Non-profit organization whose mission is to provide day camp events for terminally and seriously ill children. To purchase tickets, students and community members can reach out to any Panhellinic sorority at Chico State, as well as the brothers of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. The sorority that sells the most tickets will be awarded $1000 to be donated to their designated charity. Any questions can be directed to our Public Relations Chhair, Jesse Erven at (925) 364-0577. Warmly, The Brothers of the Beta Omega Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity End
