Follow on Google News | MicroEnterprise Graduation Focuses on Child Care11 women entrepreneurs to graduate from Goodwill’s small business class
The Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute is a training program to help emerging entrepreneurs start new ventures and grow small businesses. Graduates complete a 12-module business and management training course over the course of six weeks, and work with mentors who are successful businesspersons. This session was the first MicroEnterprise class to focus primarily on the child care industry. Jill Corbett and Dorothy Browning facilitated the class. Graduates Rachel Addison, Yoland Chapman, Ashley Cosby, Barbara Folley, Zoila Infante, Mary Marion, Rachel Peacock, Laureen Preston, Tonya Rodreguez, Latoya Williams, and Tatiana Pereda will all receive their certificates symbolizing their completion of the small business training course. “We look at the feasibility of participants’ Delivering the commencement speech will be Dawn Ziegler, CEO and owner of Ashbel’s Garden, Inc. Ashbel’s Garden is a non-profit business in Lehigh Acres that is designed to give special needs and under-privileged community resident’s sustainable skills and to give back to the community through a community garden.
