PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- R. Frederick Riddle is known primarily for his biblical novels, such as Perished: The World That Was and its sequel The Rise of Shem. But recently he announced the publishing of a brand new series called An American Hero with the first novel Dead Eye Will.

Dead Eye Will
is an eBook novel that looks back into his family's heritage. William Riddle, also known as Dead Eye, was the brother of James Riddle, Mr. Riddle's ancestor. With the novel set in the period of the War of 1812 and afterward, it is packed with adventure and romance.

Having moved to the exclusive eBook format, Mr. Riddle now has virtual control of every aspect of publishing and marketing his book. This has enabled him to launch a campaign that makes use of the social media, his radio program, and his newsletter. Using Smashwords.com, he is able to offer the eBook at reasonable prices plus coupons, such as KN64C for 10% off, to broaden his appeal.

This broad marketing strategy should position the novel for success even before its scheduled publication date of 11/22/2013. Although the book won't be available on Amazon until then, all eBook formats including Kindle are available at https://www.smashwords.com/ with coupons active.

The campaign itself features Did You Know?, a fact based informational that will be regularly posted on FaceBook and Twitter. He also plans on using LinkedIn. All together the campaign, already launched, will be active right up until 10/22/2013 when a new campaign will start.
