By: 100 Band Project The Countdown Has Begun... The 100 Bands will be revealed 11-4-13 An unprecedented assembly of Bands from across the country is now poised to help change the world. Veteran record producer and filmmaker, Wes Schuck, has spent the past 16 years producing and helping artists across the country accomplish what he calls The Curse of the Blessed. “That inner struggle to pursue your passions no matter what the world may tell you.” Almost 2 years ago Wes was diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer and given about 2 months to live. It was clear that he would need to act quickly in order to accomplish his vision of bringing together 100 bands from across the country to save our youth. Although it took longer than expected, the time is now. Wes explains that “the key is to harness the energy in what these artists are already doing for themselves to accomplish something greater for others.” The Cause for the inaugural launch is to build a youth center with an all ages music venue, create a youth center model that can be replicated, and encourage other communities to follow.
