Balamuth’s education at Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College taught her the importance of earning a jury’s trust through effective storytelling and a sincere concern for her clients – a process that is not always easy. “Every case has good facts and bad facts, and trying to [cover up] the bad facts is not going to help anybody,” said Balamuth.
Balamuth’s interest in the law began at an early age from watching how her father, Barry Balamuth, an accomplished personal injury attorney, was able to help people trapped in bad situations. She believes that the judicial system provides a valuable service for those who have been wronged by another party and knew from early on that she wanted to be a part of that process. “It’s where I want to be – fighting for the little guy is the way I see it,” she said.
