With this 12th solo album, Okonsar's personal recording label: LMO-Records is getting an imposing directory.
"I have been a good admirer of the musical works of Carl Philipp, Johann Christian and Wilhelm Friedemann Bach" the musicologist, composer and pianist Mehmet Okonsar told on quite a few instances. "Their music, specially Wilhelm Friedemann did spoke to me since my beginnings."
The publication is expected to cast a new light into the works of those early-classical composers, specifically with the selections featured in the CD.
As invariably with Okonsar, the tracks are given for free auditioning at the artist's personal web site: okonsar.com.
