By: Abbe Buck PR This year one of the stars who will be featured is Miss Sharon Clark, who hails from Washington, DC, and has been singing straight-ahead jazz for the past 20 years. She has recently toured Russia, Israel, and throughout the US, sung in New York at the famed Metropolitan Room, and is coming back to sing in honor of Gilda Radner and other women and their families who have been affected by cancer. The event is close to Sharon’s heart. Her Aunt Rosa Hanna (who used to be teasingly called “Roseanne Rosanna Danna” after the Gilda Radner character), passed away from cervical cancer many years ago due to not having regular scheduled screenings. “I cannot tell you how important this is to every woman, young and old, that I know”, Sharon says.
