Imdaad breaks ground on new 119,550 sq ft staff camp in Jebel Ali

Gymnasium & internet lounge for 2,000 residents among amenities of fully-furnished landscaped camp

Imdaad, the leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, has announced that it has laid the foundation stone for its future 119,550 sq ft staff camp located in Jebel Ali, Dubai, during a special groundbreaking ceremony held recently.

The camp arising from Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1 will be able to accommodate up to 2,000 residents and will be built in three phases. The biggest, Phase 1, will cover 107,539 sq ft and will house a population of 1,000. Phases 2 and 3 will each cover 50,871 sq ft and accommodate 500 persons.

Each accommodation will be fully furnished and come with central air conditioning and solar-heated water. Residents will have access to well-kept communal washing, cooking and dining areas. A sewage treatment plant and first-aid facilities are included to ensure proper health and safety. Among the amenities of the camp are a gymnasium, an internet lounge, and a landscaped rest area with benches.

The main contractor for the Imdaad staff camp is SAM Building Contracting LLC, with Al Manhal Engineering Consultants providing consultancy. Phase 1 of the development is scheduled for completion by early January of 2015.
