Follow on Google News | Comedian, Event, Talk Show Host and Author, Vicki Wagner, To Debut Her New Comedic Talk ShowBy: Brash Babble “Brash Babble with Vicki Wagner” focuses on the funniest comedians in Los Angeles taking center stage in front of three cameras for a show that is entertaining, unpredictable and hilarious. “Brash Babble with Vicki Wagner” is a television show production similar to “Chelsea Lately,” “Comics Unleashed” and the “Hot Topics” segment of “The View.” The show is hosted by Vicki Wagner, Author of “Get a Date Today, How to Market Yourself for Love,” Comedian and former host of the webshow “Lesbian Knows Best.” The show consists of three participants; The show is described as “cutting edge” allowing outrageous back room banter as no topic is off limits. “Brash Babble with Vicki Wagner” is a TV show production that provides a much-needed voice to local up and coming comedians in the Los Angeles area and a platform to air their views. Episode Format: “Brash Babble with Vicki Wagner” is presented in half-hour format, and is broadcast live Thursday nights from 8:30 PM-9:00PM PST. After the fall debut, the three-panel talk show will air on Wednesday mornings at 1:00 a.m., and 3 a.m. on Time Warner Channel 36, (West Hollywood Public Access, a service of the Public Information/ The former host of the Lesbian Knows Best talk show will welcome her first special guest, Hailey Boyle and Zac James when the season kicks off this Thursday. While working in television and film production, Ms. Wagner produced 3 documentaries, several short films and an assortment of music videos. Ms. Wagner has been honored to have been the master of ceremonies for several Gay Pride events across the nation, performed as far away as Provincetown, MA and Vancouver, BC and has hosted numerous events across the country. As the headlining comic at a benefit for the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN), she helped raise $25,000 in one day for the organization. She assisted Bear To Make a Difference for the Matthew Shepherd Foundation, appeared at Laugh Out Loud, Pride in Spirit, and Laugh to Make a Difference, among many other charitable venues. Vicki developed her strong sense of humor after being asked to leave the U.S. Air Force, once they discovered her gay sexual orientation (despite having achieved a Top Secret Clearance). On “Brash Babble with Vicki Wagner” expect that she will joke about growing up with her parents, members of the Devils Disciples Motorcycle Club (a franchise of the Hells Angels) and her continued recovery from Catholic school.
