Techna Glass Tech Wins Silver At National Event

SANDY, Utah - Oct. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Techna Glass is pleased to announce that Chris Smith, one of its certified technicians, took top honors the international auto glass repair competition in Tampa, Florida.

Smith received the Silver medal at the 8th Annual Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics during the annual Auto Glass Week Convention.  He is the store manager for Techna Glass in Salt Lake City and has 5 years experience in the industry.

Competitors are allotted 75 minutes to complete a windshield installation and are judged in six major areas, including customer interaction and technician comportment, proper equipment and tools usage, installation technique and cleanup procedures.
