TV Casting Guru Gauges Arm Wrestling Potential of Co-Eds from Rutgers, Penn State, UConn & Syracuse

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Oct. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Television casting director Jessica Hornedo and other NYC Brand Production staff are visiting Syracuse, Rutgers, UConn and Penn State campuses to identify competitive, athletic male and female students to compete in NYC Brand Production’s new college arm wrestling show, “CAWL To Arms” which will air on ESPNU and ESPN2 in 2014. Hornedo is best know for casting a variety of reality shows from “MTV Video Music Awards” to “Kitchen Nightmares,” and she just completed casting for NBC’s “The Million Second Quiz” with Ryan Seacrest.

“CAWL To Arms” teams co-ed college students from rival schools around the country against one another in exciting and grueling matches to determine the most powerful male and female college arm wrestlers in America. Filming for the competition takes place Nov. 17-18, 2013 at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, N.J.

The first “CAWL To Arms” match-ups include students from Penn State versus students from Rutgers and students from University of Connecticut versus students from Syracuse University. The winning teams from those match-ups will face each other in a final round to determine the 2014 “CAWL To Arms” Grand Champions. The winning team members will share a $10,000 cash prize.

NYC Brand Productions is currently in pre-production for “CAWL To Arms”; series creator Rob “Bucky” Buchalter explains, “We are actively recruiting students from Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse U. and UConn. to participate in our inaugural Championship season. We are looking for men and women from all four universities who are competitive and who believe they have what it takes to be arm wrestling champions.” Students who are interested in participating can complete an online application at http://cawltoarms.com and submit a video detailing why they should be chosen as a contestant. The deadline for submission is Oct. 14, 2013.
