Leomark Studios Signs Co-Production Deal for "The Backyard"

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Screenwriter Jen West has signed a deal with Leomark Studios to co-produce West’s feature-length script, The Backyard. Set in a San Fernando Valley neighborhood, The Backyard is “a smart and scary mash-up of Desperate Housewives and The Grudge,” says Leomark’s Head of Development Maria Collis. “Audiences will be chuckling right up until they scream with terror.”
         Production on The Backyard is set for the second quarter of 2014 in Los Angeles.
         Jen West is a native Angeleno whose previous works include poems and short stories. She recently appeared along with Bill Ratner of “The Moth” story hour at “Wanted: Writers,” a live reading series at Rumours Coffee House in West Los Angeles.
