Atlanta's Biggest Fashion Block Party Shut Down Peachtree for Republic of Couture Grand Opening

Oct. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- ATLANTA GA - Fashion Friendson Oct 5, 2013, Republic of Couture took over Peachtree Street between 11th and 12th streets in front of their shop and turned the road into a 40 feet catwalk for a spectacular fashion show experience. This has never been done before in the city of Atlanta.  Thanks to Philip Michael PR, over 900 in attendance came out to see the ROC Grand Opening Block Party and My Beauti Network, Beauti Boss Models ROC’d the Runway in the center of the street.

Gaston Garcia, Owner and Founder came up with the idea of having a unique shopping experience that creates fun and entertainment. From the moment you walk through the Watergate entry of Republic of Couture, you are on a different journey. The store has several cool destinations from a media tower, Earthgate entry to the Casual Wear, Designer Level to having its own Library;Café and DJ Booth. The clothes are moderately priced for shoes, denim, handbags, and accessories to designer watches.  The highlight of the store is ROC’sCheckout with the see-through floor.

This past Saturday night, Celebrities,Atlanta’s Fashionistas and the community were able to enjoy music by DJ AMIX, dancing, entertainment, exotic automobiles, haute couture fashion show produced by Amie Haag, Fashion Director of ROC. The show started with a special guest model’s arrival of James Bond. After the fierce fashion show the experience did not stop, from amazing talents artists and show girls who lit up the city.  Indeed, this was a fashion with a purpose mission as 10% of sales made in the store and $.50 from each picture tweet sent from inside the store including #rocintheweb (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/rocintheweb) benefited AID Atlanta. This was an unforgettable experience that left Hotlanta wanting more.
