Celebrated Gymnast and Actress Krista Jasper Visits the GingerNewYork TV Show, NYC

NEW YORK - Oct. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Krista Jasper has been an artist all her life, drawing, dancing, writing and performing since she was a small child. At age 12, Ms. Jasper was training for the 2008 Olympics in gymnastics where she traveled the world competing for her country and earning a full-athletic scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. http://kristajasper.com

After graduating with a double BA in Dramatic Art and Communications in 2012, Krista Jasper moved to New York City to pursue her acting career. Ms. Jasper recently shot a few commercials, performed as the Nurse in "Stop Kiss" at Center Stage Playhouse, and Broadway Dreams Showcase, "Circle of Dreams". Currently, she is cast as "Heather" in an independent feature film, "Tendril", filmed in September, 2013 and working on set as an Extras Casting Assistant on the feature film, "Love is Strange".

Krista's most recent project is producing and performing in a one-woman show, "Breaking (in) the Body", an Off-Broadway production to open this November, 2013. It's a one-woman show based on the true events of her life training for the 2008 Olympics - a coming of age story of a young gymnast who has a dream and how this dream leads her through failure, opportunity, and ultimately, ownership of her body.
