Nov. 9 Reflection Workshop Spotlights Two Women of The Bible

MILWAUKEE - Oct. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- The School Sisters of St. Francis will host a reflection workshop about The Woman at The Well and St. Mary Magdalene. The workshop will examine why these historical figures are relevant today, and where they reside in our lives. Learn and pray on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9:15-11:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Center, 1501 S. Layton Blvd. (Greenfield Ave. at 27th St.), Milwaukee.

“Stay With Us—Women of The Bible” will be led by Sister Madelyn Gould, OSF, and author Marcia Mackenbrock, both adult educators and retreat directors from Naperville, Illinois. Their two-hour presentation will also include time for each participant to create a personal tavola (religious art)—no art experience necessary! The event is open to women and men ages 15 and up.

Registration for “Stay With Us—Women of the Bible” is $10, and advance registration is required. To reserve your space or for more information, please contact Donna O’Loughlin at 414-385-5272 or doloughlin@sssf.org.

Free parking for the event is available in the St. Joseph Center lot, accessed at 29th Street and Orchard Street.
