Wine Oh TV Announces Video Series on Bordeaux Wines

SAN FRANCISCO - Oct. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Founder and host of Wine Oh TV (http://wineoh.tv/about-us/) Monique Soltani is pleased to announce that she is planning a new three-part video series based on her recent trip to the Bordeaux AOC wine region of southwestern France.

During the week-long trip, Soltani traveled to the wine estates, chateaux, and other points of interest in the countryside surrounding the city of Bordeaux. This area is renowned worldwide for the diverse and exceptional wines it produces.

Beginning in the beautiful golden-stone city of Bordeaux near the Atlantic coast, Soltani has traveled through many of the Bordeaux AOCs (Appellations d’Origine Contrôlées), which are the only areas which can produce wines labeled as specific areas of the Bordeaux region.

The estates along the great rivers Garonne and Dordogne have been known since antiquity for their superior winemaking grapes and a climate perfectly suited to growing them. Today, Bordeaux is the largest wine producing region in France with hundreds of millions of bottles produced per year under 54 separate appellations. While Bordeaux produces wines along the entire spectrum of quality, the very finest vintages are prized throughout the world.
