Follow on Google News | Marston rollout VideoBadge to every field agentMarston, the UK’s largest judicial services group has signed a deal to rollout VideoBadge body worn video technology to every field agent working for them.
By: Edesix Ltd The company operates nationwide, with over 1,200 employees and agents who recover over £200 million per year on behalf of taxpayers, businesses and individuals. Speaking with Fiona Bruce in a recent interview, Marston Chief Executive, Gareth Hughes explained that the welfare of their field agents was a key factor in deciding to introduce the body worn video cameras which help to reduce the risks associated with the work they undertake. Referring to findings of the initial pilot project, Hughes remarked, “following the introduction of these cameras, our complaints fell, while satisfaction for our agents rose because they felt more protected and the customer interaction became more pleasant.” VideoBadge is a video and audio recording device slightly larger than an ID card. Secure encryption ensures that captured footage cannot be accessed by anyone unless specifically authorised to do so. The cameras not only help to protect staff from abuse or aggression, but recordings can be reviewed by the company or the client to resolve disputes or false allegations and for staff training and transparency. Richie McBride, Edesix MD said, “VideoBadge is all about making the working lives of those in challenging frontline roles that little bit easier and safer. We are delighted to be working with Marston to help benefit the company and their staff with a reduction in complaints and improved staff morale.” Hear what Gareth Hughes has to say about body worn video here http://www.edesix.com/ Or for more information visit http://www.edesix.com End
