New Children's Book Helps Kids Go to Sleep

LEES SUMMIT, Mo. - Oct. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Marie Tabler’s latest project, Star Flights Bedtime Spaceship, is a charming and fun story with the purpose to aid parents as they help their children unwind and go to sleep. Inspired by the author's own need for a calm story to lull her child to sleep, the underlying theme is that everything is safe and under control as you float through space in your amazing home. The story also briefly touches on how important sleep is to our general health and how many things are working together to make sure we are ready for tomorrow.

The story begins as though the reader were being welcomed on a space journey by a flight attendant working for the fictitious company Star Flights. The attendant shares about how the home is actually a wonderful spaceship that launches into space as soon as the traveler is in bed with their eyes closed. The story goes on to describe Autopilot which takes care of all systems aboard the ship and how it also generates power for the protective force field that surrounds the ship while in space.

In a time packed full with activities and over-stimulation, this story offers peace and touches on the value of a good night’s sleep.
