SAN DIEGO - Oct. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Ever had pain in your neck, or an aching back, or numbness in your hand after doing a tattoo?

As a tattoo artist you shouldn’t be surprised if you've had these symptoms. Bending over a client while making repetitive motions with vibrating tools can cause a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.

Since October is National Ergonomics Month, now is the perfect time for you to think about increasing workplace comfort and reducing the risk of work-related injuries.

One way to stay in good health and to protect your ability to continue to work is to take the Tattoo Shop Ergonomics course that is offered by the Body Art Training Group at http://www.bodyarttraininggroup.com and at http://www.yourtrainingplace.com.

Tattoo Shop Ergonomics makes specific suggestions for reducing the stress tattooing puts on fingers, wrists, back and neck. Following these suggestions should lead to increased comfort, efficiency, and productivity.

Don't risk you health. Learn more about ergonomics today!

National Ergonomics Month began in 2003 when the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society designated October of every year to be National Ergonomics Month. Ergonomics is the science of designing machines, tools, and work environments to promote human safety, comfort, and efficiency.
