RALEIGH, N.C. - Oct. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Black Women in Business is a signature program developed by Impact Meetings and Events President Ingrid Jones.  The program provides a platform to celebrate the talents, skills and achievements of black women leaders. Olalah Njenga, CEO of YellowWood Group (www.yellowwoodgroup.com), will present "Personal Branding for Leaders" as the second installment in the series. Njenga's presentation will challenge attendees to rethink the stereotypes that limit how we define leadership and encourage dialog around the personal branding strategies that leaders leverage to create impact every day.

Venue Information:
Date:   October 8, 2013
Time:  11:30a - 1:30p
Address: 220 Leigh Farm Road Durham NC 27707
Sponsor:  AICPA

Program developer Ingrid Jones remarks on choosing Njenga for the series, “I chose Olalah to present because of her expertise in strategic branding and positioning for companies and their leaders. When we think about how to build our own personal brands as leaders, we need to think of how to do it strategically. Her success as a Black woman entrepreneur in building her company from a one-person firm to an award-winning enterprise with two locations puts her in a position to be a role model and mentor to women.”

Njenga says despite facing challenges as a black woman in business with more than 10 years of entrepreneurship to her credit, she is encouraged by kind words she received from First Lady Michelle Obama and those words help to keep her focused on her vision and goals.

The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) is the signature sponsor of Njenga's presentation "Personal Branding for Leaders”.
