Piattini’s Gone Piadina - Piattini Introduces New Fall Lunch and Brunch Selections

BOSTON - Oct. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- WHAT:          Located on Newbury Street, Piattini brings a taste of Italy to the heart of Boston’s Back Bay. This fall Piattini is expanding its menu to include all new Piattini piadini and brunch items on weekends, giving guests and even wider variety of the classics they’ve come to love.

Beginning September 2013 Piattini is offering piadini, traditional Italian flatbread sandwiches, with an array of options such as the Manzo Piadina, shaved steak, mushrooms, caramelized onions, blue cheese and arugula ($9.95) the Salmone con Capra, Norwegian smoked salmon, goat cheese, tomato and pickled onions ($9.95) and the Vegetario, zucchini, summer squash, red peppers, Portobello mushroom and smoked mozzarella ($8.95). Piattini’s Piadina menu is available seven days a week from 11:30AM to 4:00PM.

For the weekenders, Piattini has expanded its Saturday and Sunday lunch menu to include frittatas, a classic Italian breakfast dish. The new selections including Frittata Bianca with smoked salmon, goat cheese, arugula and basil pesto, Frittata del Campo with cherry tomato, zucchini, mushroom and fontina cheese, and the lighter Uovo Semplice, simply eggs and spinach (all $9.95), give guests a way to satisfy their weekend brunch cravings. The new items will be offered in addition to Piattini’s regular lunch menu, and pair perfectly with its cocktail menu including a classic Mimosa ($8) or Bloody Mary made with citrus vodka or cucumber-infused vodka and a signature mix!
