The website has looked at each of the 19 divisional contests played during the first two weeks of the 2013 season, and found that the difference between winning and losing has often been dependent upon what the total for the game has been.
In eight games within this segment of NFL divisional matchups, the home team has been the winning team when it comes to the Las Vegas betting line on seven occasions when the total for the contest has been 45 or above.
Even lowering the total has been a success with the trend, since games with a total of 43 or over have been winning NFL picks nine of 12 times thus far.
This weekend, two games will fit within the parameters of the 45 and over group: the New York Giants will host its NFC East rival, the Philadelphia Eagles, while an NFC North matchup will take place between the host Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions.
Lowering that totals number to 43 will allow for one more game to be added to this group: the late Sunday night AFC West contest between the host Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers.
