Lice Treatment Solutions of Clear Lake Participates in Health Fair

HOUSTON - Oct. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Houston TX, Sept. 28, 2013 –  Lice Treatment Solutions of Clear Lake (http://www.eliminate-lice.com/), a professional head lice removal salon,  participated in The City of La Porte and La Porte ISD annual Health and Safety Fair today.  Exhibitors included local and county public safety groups, local industry, health organizations, and local civic and volunteer organizations.  This important and fun event encourages health and safety information for our community.

Free head lice screenings were provided by Lice Treatment Solutions of Clear Lake (http://www.eliminate-lice.com/) during the daylong event.  “Early detection is an important first step to treatment of head lice. Dealing with a head lice infestation can be frustrating and sometimes embarrassing.  We are committed to helping our community successfully treat and prevent head lice safely and effectively” said TC Gaines, a spokesperson for Lice Treatment Solutions.  “Head lice infestations are on the rise and there are a lot of myths about treatment and prevention.  Sorting through all of the information to separate fact from myth can be a daunting task in our busy lives.  We hope that by participating in events like this we can begin to educate our community about this growing nuisance.”

The event had over 100 exhibitors and proceeds for the event helped to support the La Porte High School booster clubs.  Other highlights of the event included a medical helicopter landing in front of La Porte High School, La Porte Fire Department engines and ladder trucks, the La Porte Police D.A.R.E car and many other emergency response vehicles.  Houston Rockets mascot “Clutch” even made an appearance.

“The La Porte Health and Safety Fair was a huge success and we were proud to participate in such an important event” said TC Gaines.  “Through proper education and early detection, it is our hope that head lice can be eradicated from our community.
