In response to requests from our customers to be able to see details of their shipments from a smartphone or tablet, PLG developed an app to allow users to view status, estimated delivery time and date, incremental updates along the shipping cycle and have the ability to be alerted via push notifications for any critical shipments. They can also designate shipments as “hot” and communicate with PLG through the app on any specific requirements. Users are also able to view shipment status history and all shipment information, such as pieces, weights and dims, as well as forward the details via email or text message. Additionally, they can access PLG’s social media and company news from the app.
