DENVER - Oct. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- (Boulder – October 2, 2013) MAD Greens (http://madgreens.com/), a local leader in fresh, healthy lunch and dinner options, has opened its 11th restaurant inside the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.

MAD Greens - Eat Better Café, Located in the Atrium of the Koelbel Building at the Leeds School of Business features, farm fresh made-to-order salads, grilled-to-order paninis, fresh grab n’go, hot soup bar, wraps, snacks, hot breakfast burritos, Ozo coffee and Teakoe tea, Moe’s bagels, and other locally sourced ingredients.  They are open for breakfast and lunch Monday – Friday.

"Earlier this year, Leeds undertook a careful study of our food service needs and evaluated competitive bids from key foodservice firms in Colorado.  We were thrilled that one of our own graduates, Marley Hodgson (MBA ’03), and his company, MAD Greens, rose to the top," said the Dean of the Leeds School, David Ikenberry. “Marley exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit at Leeds, and we are delighted to have him and the team at MAD Greens bringing innovative, healthy food to our students, faculty, and staff.”

Said one Facebook fan: “I LOVE that MAD Greens is at CU! I have eaten there at least 6 times in the last 2-½ weeks.  The breakfast burritos are AMAZING."

“MAD Greens is always looking for new locations and when the opportunity to open up at CU arose, we wanted to jump on it. We have three people on our management team who attended Leeds and we thought it would be a great way bring our tasty salads to the students and faculty at CU,” said MAD Greens co-founder and CEO Marley Hodgson. “A key part of our mission in building the company has been to offer as much support as possible to local companies, and we actively seek out new ways to establish and maintain these relationships.”

The new MAD Greens Café also comes with a focused social media strategy to keep pace with the young student population as well as the tech savvy faculty at the Leeds School.  This strategy incorporates fresh findings from around the web to the MAD Greens Café’s own twitter @MADGreensCU (http://www.twitter.com/MADGreensCU), including healthy eating news and delicious recipes. It also means student and faculty interactions – both positive and negative – are addressed immediately on Facebook and Twitter.

“To us, social media is a two-way conversation with our guests to let them know about a great new salad recipe, but also to let us know immediately what we’re doing right and what we need to fix,” said Hodgson. “If someone has to wait too long for their order, or our store is out of an ingredient in the middle of a busy day, customers can let us know on Twitter, and we’ll resolve the issue right away,” Hodgson promised.
