Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary Celebrates Open House and Fall Fundraising Event

Forever Amber Acres is having an open house and annual fall fundraising event filled with activities for children, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and much more.
 
MEDINA, Ohio - Oct. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Medina, Ohio, Oct. 01, 2013  – Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary (FAAAS), a rescue, rehabilitation, and permanent refuge for horses and animals in need, is having an Open House and annual Fall Fundraising Event on Oct. 5, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The sanctuary, located at 1133 Granger Rd., Medina, OH 44256, will be having kid- and adult-friendly activities, including face painting, a scavenger hunt with prizes, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and much more to celebrate its recent nonprofit status and annual fall event. FAAAS encourages anyone with a love for animals to come join in on the fun to support the efforts of Forever Animal Acres.

“We will be having horse and farm tours, pony rides and photos opportunities, farm-inspired crafts like horseshoe decorating booths and so much more. It will truly be a fun-filled day for everyone,” says Founder and Executive Director Michele Bolinger. “New activities continue to get added daily to this day of family fun at Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary,” adds Bolinger.

About Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary:
Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary (FAAAS) was founded by Michele Bolinger in 2008 when she purchased the 11.5-acre farm in Medina, Ohio to provide a home to the two special needs horse she had at the time. For five years Bolinger personally funded FAAAS until gaining nonprofit status in 2013. Forever Amber Acres is currently home to three horses, three once-feral cats and two dogs. Most of the permanent residents at the sanctuary have multiple health problems, and all of which had been neglected and abused prior to being rescued by Bolinger. FAAAS has also rescued and placed 35 other horses and multiple cats and dogs. All rescues and placements are under a First Right of Refusal contract to ensure the safety and security of the animals.
