NEW YORK - Oct. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- In a last pitch afford for Tish James to win the run-off democratic primary election against NY State Senator Daniel Squadron a reception was arranged on Sunday evening, September 29, 2013 by Chaim Pinkus. Mr. Pinkus has developed a reputation as The Advocate for the NY Jewish Community.

Elected officials, Rabbinic, community and civic leaders from throughout the city attended the reception.  While Bruce Solomon, a political activist was the M.C. for the evening, he invited Rabbi Shlomo Braun to do the formal introduction of the candidate.  In his remarks, Rabbi Shlomo Braun mentioned that we are gathered in an area where the current Public Advocate Bill DeBlasio was the former city council member of this district and succeeded to get elected from here, to the public advocate office and wished Ms. James that she as well should succeed in winning this race with an overwhelming victory.

Isaac Abraham, a known community activist spoke about his many positive achievements with councilmember Letitia James. Councilman David Greenfield extended an elaborate impressive presentation on his many accomplishments while working closely with his colleague Ms. James in the City Council regarding issues that is of major concern to the Jewish and African American communities. Assemblyman David Weprin also spoke eloquently on his positive experience while serving seven years with Letitia James in the NYC Council. Several other speakers such as Ari Noe, a noted businessman who has encountered difficulties with the current city administration praised Letitia James for being helpful when her help was needed.

Letitia James addressed the crowd and made a considerable impact to the audience whereby she received a standing ovation and commitment from everyone to do their utmost to get the people to the polls and make sure she wins with an overwhelming victory!
