Lone Yeti Development Announces Major Update to Songwriting App

PHOENIX - Oct. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Lone Yeti Development has released a major upgrade to their songwriting app, Songpen. The app (also formally known as Songsmith) now supports iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. It has also been redesigned for iOS 7 exclusively.

The songwriting journal app enables users to keep track of lyrics and ideas and even record sounds and link them to songs. The new version also features a completely redesigned "Inspiration" feature that offers a random tips, common sayings and random images to help kickstart a songwriter's muse.

"We started from the ground up," lead developer, Troy Harris, said. "Every function was reconsidered for iOS 7. We think we have created something that is very much in the spirit of what Apple has intended for their new operating system."

Songpen is a universal app that supports iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices running iOS 7. For devices running iOS 5 and iOS 6, the previous version of Songpen (named Songsmith) is still available from the App Store.
