Michigan Gains Eight Certified Contract Managers

The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Awards Eight Certifications to Contract Managers in Michigan
 
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Sept. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Ypsilanti, MI - The Great Lakes State (GLS) Chapter of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is pleased to announce that eight of its members have achieved certification by the NCMA. Certifications were awarded in NCMA’s three highest categories for those specializing in federal, commercial, and professional contracting and who may wish to use the letters CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM behind their names to recognize this expertise.  The certifications are awarded to candidates who meet rigorous standards, including experience, education, training, and knowledge.  They are professional designations of distinction, and carry the respect of their peers in the profession.  The NCMA professional certification program is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and distinguish those who demonstrate knowledge essential to the practice of contract management.

The Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification is awarded based on education, training, experience and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.  Those receiving this certification are:

Jill Gernaat
Mark Ignash
Karen Langenberg
Sarah Straight
Deana Vitale


The Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) certification is awarded based on education, training, experience, and knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code.  This certification was awarded to:

Cynthia Orchard

The Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is awarded to those who demonstrate NCMA's highest standards for education, training, and experience, and have demonstrated knowledge of the contract management competencies in the Contract Management Body of Knowledge.  This certification was awarded to:

Joseph DeLobel
