San Francisco 49ers Top List of Sports Handicapping Best Bets for Totals After a Bye

The website looked at the week following a bye for all 32 teams, and had a cutoff point of those teams with a winning percentage for either the over or under at 80 percent. Vegas Experts found that the 49ers were the best team in this category, going over the betting number in 10 of 11 games, with one additional game ending in a tie.

Next up was a pair of teams that have veered in opposite directions when it came to totals, though both were highly successful. The Seattle Seahawks have gone over in 9 of the 11 games following a week off, while the Carolina Panthers have finished under at that same percentage rate.

Three teams from the American Football Conference help round out this group, each of their post-bye total records leaning heavily for those wagering on the under. The Houston Texans, New York Jets and Oakland Raiders have all played ten games during the period covered, with eight unders for each in those games.

The first opportunity for sports handicappers to test this research will be on Sunday, October 6, when Carolina travels to face the Arizona Cardinals.
