The list of Utah’s top public relations firms was published in the magazine’s September edition. “To even be mentioned today among Utah’s heaviest-hitting creative agencies is a great honor and a sign of how far we’ve come,” Virtel Marketing CEO Mitch Weight said. “Placing No. 18 on the list of public relations firms shows how much we have grown, our level of expertise and how well we have served our clients.” Like other public relations agencies on this year’s list, the team at Virtel Marketing does more than just traditional and online PR. The list of public relations firms is part of Utah Business magazine’s “Book of Lists,” which contains contact information for about 1,700 businesses. The book includes more than 60 business categories, with the largest private and public companies in the state. Virtel Marketing is also slated to appear on Utah Business magazine’s list of the top Internet marketing companies in the state. A representative from the magazine said that list could be published in the October edition of the magazine. Both lists will appear in the “Book of Lists,” which is scheduled for publication near the end of the year. With tens of thousands of subscribers, Utah Business magazine provides its “Book of Lists” as a reference station for business leaders whose opinions are shaped by information from the magazine. The lists highlight airlines, hospitals, law firms, banks, hotels, investment brokerages, radio stations, ski resorts and companies in many other industries.
