BGR the Burger Joint MT Kisco continues its support of the community it serves.
Luigi Olinto, owner of BGR Mount Kisco has lost a family member to pancreatic cancer, so he understands the devastating effect this cancer has on families. “I lost my father-in-law to this disease, being part of the fundraising efforts to help find a cure is important to me.”
This cancer is one of the most devastating forms of cancer out there, with a very high mortality rate. Research and continued understanding is vital to increasing the survival rate for pancreatic cancer.
John Rooney, General Manager at MT Kisco who works to spearhead BGR’s community outreach programs such as the highly successful “Family Fun Night,” had this to say, “We are looking forward to seeing our customers come out and join with us in this effort to raise awareness and provide support to pancreatic cancer research.”
On Sunday, September 29, 2013 BGR Mt Kisco is participating in the walk to support The Lustgarten Foundation. Registration begins at 9am at Bethel High School Track, Bethel, CT.
