Pastor States: No SEX Like Good SEX!

There is no sex like good sex!  Can I get an amen?!!  Now, that I have your attention I want you to know that I am quite serious.  Perhaps once you heard that statement descriptive images entered into your mind.  But, I assure you that’s not the point I’m trying to make.

What I’m talking about is sex…God’s way!  Now, most people in today’s world don’t associate God with sex.  But, God has EVERYTHING  to do with sex.  He created us and he created sex. The moment he told Adam and Eve in Genesis 1:28 to “be fruitful and multiply”, sex was sanctioned.

Now, we all can agree that God is a creative genius. Not just because we think he is, but because he said so.   From the beginning when he created the heavens and earth, the waters of the deep, fish in the sea, birds of the sky, and animals on the Earth, to each original masterpiece he said it was “good”.  It is no difference with the function of sex.  It is God’s creation and it is “very good”!

But, just like everything else that has been created, sex was created for God’s pleasure and glory (see Revelations 4:11). That means it must be executed and handled God’s way, and must be practiced within his parameters.  This is not only for his glory, but for our benefit.  Since, he has ordained sex to initiate life on his behalf, when it is done improperly life will spiral out of control.  When God says sex should only be between a man and woman, if we fail to follow his command there are consequences to pay.  In addition, when it is practiced outside of the marriage covenant it is a violation of his purpose and plan.

Sex is good and it was meant to be a blessing!  Notice, Genesis 2:28 says, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply…” .  That’s right, sex is a blessing.  But, if it is not done God’s way it can be a curse that brings premature parenthood, heartache, dysfunction, disappointment, guilt, condemnation, and even disease.  This is not God’s will.  Sex was meant to be a blessing and a gift to married persons.  It literally allows you to become “one flesh”.  It produces beautiful children, which produce wonderful families.  It’s meant to bring chills and thrills. It is supposed to rock your socks.

So all those who want “Good Sex”….say amen!
