Hot Buildings for Chicago Luxury Condo Sales in August Were Found in Gold Coast, Lincoln Park

CHICAGO - Sept. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- August was a terrific month for condo sales among some of my favorite buildings in the city. One is 30 West Oak,—and judging by last month’s Chicago condo sales, I’m not the only one. This Gold Coast building had the top sales (in volume) in August, totaling $9.6 million.

Another favorite building of mine is the new construction building at 2550 Lakeview, home of the most expensive condo sale last month. 2550 Lakeview (also known as Lincoln Park 2550) boasts the most exquisite lobby and a certain panache you won’t find anywhere else in the city. Top Buildings for Chicago Condos

So what makes these two buildings so special? With 30 West Oak, the neighborhood itself is surrounded by luxury. It’s just one block from the most exclusive shopping in Chicago—whether it’s a custom diamond ring at Harry Winston, a scarf from Hermes, or a handbag from Tom Ford. The all-concrete building is one of few that features 10-foot ceilings that would be ideal for featuring a major art collection.
