Mystic Moondance Inc (http://www.mysticmoondance.org). is producing the Moondance International Film Festival (MIFF) in Southeastern Connecticut with Hans Hartman as Festival Director and President of Mystic Moondance Inc. working with Moondance International Film Festival Founder Elizabeth English.

Moondance International Film Festival will be presented from September 26^th through the 29^th. The entire four-day festival event is open to the general public, filmmakers, writers, composers, general audiences, and entertainment companies from around the world. Opening day screenings and the opening night red carpet party will take place on September 26, 2013 at the Mashuntucket Pequot Museum with part of the proceeds from the Silent Auction at the opening night party going to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center in Pawcatuck, CT.  The opening night party will include musical entertainment from the popular Long Island based Red, White and Blues band and from The Gold Brothers comprised of Academy Award winner Ari Gold and composer Ethan Gold.  Ari Gold will also participate in a seminar during MIFF and screen his movies Frog Crossing and the popular Adventures of Power which stars Ari,  Michael McKean, Jane Lynch and Adrian Grenier. Adventures of Power premiered at Sundance and won the top Audience Awards at the Vail and Memphis Film Festivals. Also attending and participating in a seminar is Keith Dorrington who is an Oscar nominated writer and Executive Producer of The Fighter starring Christian Bale and Mark Wahlburg, which was nominated for six Golden Globe Awards and seven Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.

Taking place at the same time but apart from Moondance International Film Festival, Mystic Moondance will be screening filmmaker Dan Frank’s movie Speed Dragon which premiered at Cannes Film Festival in May and stars Bai Ling. Stars and producers from the film will be in attendance.
