Social Media - Word of Mouth is Everything

HAMILTON, N.J. - Sept. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- - It used to be if you needed work done, or go buy an appliance, you would ask family, friends and neighbors for their advice.  Maybe they had the same problem and "their guy"  was great.  This made life so easy.

Now with Review sites out the wazoo,  Facebook, G+, and the likes, we can see what everyone thinks of your dealership.  Most dealerships have recognized that these reviews aren't going away and started embracing them.  Links to Dealer Rater are popping up on everyone's websites.  ( Dealer Rater will even "skim" the fat off the top, so only the best appear! Not many have actually used this 'Word of mouth' to their advantage to get good, quality leads, and some sort of tracking system for return on investment.

You can advertise your referral bonus on Facebook, twitter and the like, but still without a way to capture the data of the Referrer and Referral, you are driving blind.  Popping up now is a few Referral Program companies such as Send Me a Friend - and they are taking it very seriously!

You referral will click on an ad or link on Facebook, which will whisk them away to a customized page for your dealership.  On it they can register as a referrer, getting their own user name, password, and a link to their own customized site.  At that point they can log in, enter as many referrals as they like, check on the referral from last week,  and will even be notified when those people buy a car!

Best yet is now its track-able.  You have acquired the data you need not only to pursue the referral but can also "coach" the referrer to bring you more people.  You might even want to sell him a car!

Word of mouth is essential in every successful business, no its time to take it to the next level and get social media working for their supper! Sweet!
