Jean Yip Group is Singapore’s favorite Beauty Brand for 4th year in a row

 
Sept. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Homegrown hair and beauty brand Jean Yip Group have clinched yet another Superbrands Award for the 4th year in a row. This is the company’s 5th Superbrands Award; having first accord Superbrand status in 2002 and consecutively from 2010 to 2012. Cheryl Wee, daughter of Jean Yip and ambassador for the brand, received the award on the 26th of August at the Superbrands Tribute event held at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore.

Dawn Yip, Director of Marketing and operations stated that “Jean Yip has come a long way, since its inception into the beauty industry in 1982. We are pleased to be a favorite beauty brand among Singaporeans for a 4th year in a row. We believe that Jean Yip’s success not only comes from achieving Superbrand status, but from our consumers and the entire team behind Jean Yip as well”.

Superbrands Singapore commissions independent consumer research, conducted by The Nielsen Company to identify the strongest brands across more than 90 different product and service categories. An independent panel of marketing and branding experts together with senior business leaders then evaluates these companies in terms of its locality, longevity, reputation, innovation, market share and innovation.

In a separate survey done by The Nielsen Company, 83% of consumers are generally more aware of Superbrands and is the most recognizable brand award in Singapore. 80% of consumers also state that they are more likely to buy a product or service associated with the Superbrands logo.
