YesStyle and YesAsia celebrate Japanese culture with CAMERA JAPAN 2013

Sept. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Reflecting a shared goal of promoting Asian culture and art worldwide, YesStyle and sister company YesAsia are sponsoring CAMERA JAPAN 2013, taking place from September 26 to October 6, 2013. An annual Japanese cultural festival taking place in the Netherlands, CAMERA JAPAN focuses mainly on film, but also explores cultural elements such as art, music, dance, fashion, architecture, food and more.

This year’s edition of CAMERA JAPAN includes a screening of Yoji Yamada’s Tokyo Family, a modern version of Yasujiro Ozu’s 1953 classic Tokyo Story, and a performance by all-female pop/punk band Shonen Knife. Other events include a showcase of classic Japanese animation, a Japanese marketplace, various workshops and performances, and also a Kid’s Day.
