HARRISBURG, Pa. - Sept. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- One of Central PA’s busiest actresses will be featured on the new midday television show Good Day PA on Wednesday, Oct 2, 2013 at 12:30pm when Hershey resident Rory Ogden takes center stage.

Though she’s just 11 years old, Rory has a lot to tell us about her acting career. For instance, she is currently filming her fifth film, due this winter. The Legend of the Hat Man is the latest in a string of films Rory has been featured in. Her first major role was in the short film Just a Kid, which was shot in summer 2012 and is currently making the film festival circuit. Right now the film is being considered for screening at the Sundance International Film Festival, one of the most prominent film festivals in the world.

Just a Kid is the short film directed by Michael Scotti, Jr. of New Jersey. Ogden portrays Julie, the younger sibling looking to mend the broken heart of her big brother Edward, portrayed by Thomas Mika. In the film, Julie goes to great lengths to retrieve a camera from Edward’s ex-girlfriend. The camera holds memories of the siblings, which have always brought the two closer in the past. Julie’s hope is to help Edward heal from his heartache.

Other projects include the films Letters; The Patient; and I Love My Family, Honestly; two TV series on the NBC network: Deception starring Meagan Goode; and Do No Harm starring Steve Pasqaule and Phylicia Rashad; and several commercials.

In addition to acting, Rory also sings in the school chorus and plays field hockey. It will be a pleasure to learn more about 11-yr-old Rory Ogden and her future goals when she is interviewed on the Wed, Oct 2nd edition of Good Day PA.
