October 4, 2:30-4:30 pm

Hiring Legally and Effectively the First Time  -- In the first of three workshops, You’ll learn how to select and hire the right person the first time, without stepping on a hiring landmine. You’ll receive valuable reference sheets and checklists to guide you through every step along the way.

November 1, 2:30-4:30 pm

Managing Your Team Legally and Effectively All the Time -- In our second of three workshops, you’ll learn to legally: classify as hourly or salaried, manage work time, respond to time off requests, and manage WC claims. You’ll learn ways to motivate and retain good people so productivity soars while having fun.  You’ll also receive book lists, posting requirements and guidelines to help you become an employer of choice.

December 6, 2:30-4:30 pm

It’s Not Working Out! Saying Goodbye, Legally & Effectively -- In the third of three workshops, you’ll receive tools and techniques for legally managing the unfortunate reality when employees no longer suit your needs. You’ll learn ways to protect your business and your relationships with exiting and remaining employees. You’ll receive guidelines for every situation, including a termination checklist that walks you through the steps with confidence.
