After a short break, in which we served milk and cookies, we moved on to shot put. Once again, their strength and enthusiasm for the sport astonished us. What was truly remarkable was, despite being competitors;
Biriyani with raita, followed by halwa for dessert made up lunch for all students, volunteers, and supervisors. Following the meal, we all sat down to watch a rousing match of cricket, with student volunteers commenting, and energetic students on the field, it was truly a pulse pounding event. The subsequent football match showed the same success; the spectators sat on the edge of their seats, and the students gave it their all.
After a quick relay race to conclude the sports for the day, we held our prize ceremony. Our principal, Mr. Aloysius D’Mello, and IB Coordinator, Ms.KavitaSinha did the honor of awarding the prizes. We hope that we have provided these children with the opportunity to showcase their athletic talent to the fullest extent.
