This evening David will talk about "Accessible Chic: The Return of Real Fashion". A seismic realignment in fashion is occuring. Outrageous often unwearable, but highly hyped trends are on the wane and in their place comes a return to realistic fashion. Wolfe analyses the shift from sensationalism to accessible chic. What is behind the movement towards fashion that is more realistic? The swing of the fashion pendulum? Backlash against vulgarity? Demographic statistic? Wolfe charts the current and coming direction in consumer attitude, design evolution, silhouette shifts, color concepts, textile trends and styling. An insider's view of where fashion is at....and where it is going.
This event will take place at the Katie Murphy Amphitheatre at FIT on Tuesday September 24, from 6 to 8:30pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to David Wolfe and ask questions. This event is open to AICI members, FIT students and general public.
